WPASOA - Uniform and Equipment

The standard WPASOA uniform is:

• Yellow "old" NISOA shirt, shown below (NOT the "old NISOA Grid")  
  [On the Official Sports site, these are listed under Referee Uniforms | Other Uniforms | NISOA Uniforms]
  
• NY State circular patch - no other
• Solid black shorts (no stripes)
• Black socks with three white stripes at the top
  
  
• Black shoes

The circular New York State Soccer Official patch is required and is the ONLY permissible patch when officiating public high school games.

USSF, NISOA, FIFA or any other patch is NOT permissible.

Alternate shirts are orange (first choice) or blue (second choice). As long as both officials agree and wear the same shirt, the older NISOA grid in any color is also acceptable.. 

Officials are encouraged to contact each other earlier during the day of the game to decide what to wear.

Black WPASOA windshirt may be worn in severe weather

OFFICIALS MUST BE DRESSED ALIKE -  Both officials must have the same style,  color and sleeve length.

If a hat is worn it must be SOLID ALL BLACK.
